Dr. Peter C Somers, MD is a renowned plastic cosmetic reconstructive surgeon. He received his B.S. degree in Biology from Loyola University Maryland and later attended Eastern Virginia Medical School. He completed his internship and residency from Graduate Hospital, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. He also served as a resident in General Surgery/Chief Resident, Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.

Dr. Peter C Somers, MD is the recipient of AMA Physician Recognition Award for outstanding completion of CME (Continuing Medical Education). He has attended many conferences and seminars like Lahey Clinic Symposium: Update on Plastic Surgery, Mayo Clinic Symposium on Plastic Surgery, and a two week certification Seminar and Practice on Laser Resurfacing: Fulton Skin Institute. His research work includes Microvascular Research Laboratory in conjunction with Dr. Peter Donski, (E.V.M.S.).
